Specializing in full-fledged fire detection
systems, the COFLEC group (800 people in Europe
) is joining forces with TECHNOCHINA and PDCI
(its historical partner: a design and development
agency) to launch a China-based manufacturing
subsidiary "FC ELECTRONICS" ($140 000
capital).
This decision is the natural outcome of a productive
relationship the three companies have enjoyed
for many years now. Over the past 10 years, PDCI
/ TECHNOCHINA has operated as a designer and supplier
of plastic components for FARE and SEFI, two subsidiaries
belonging to the COFLEC conglomerate.FARE is France's
leading manufacturer of fire detection systems.
The SEFI company is a specialist in detection
system monitoring centers for professional installations.
Two market leaders in their field !
The subsidiary will be headed by the TECHNOCHINA
Shanghai CEO, Yanis Cottard, and supervised by
an "operation manager" boasting 10 years'
electronic integration experience. As soon as
it is up and running, the company will appoint
30 employees and more staff are expected to be
recruited within a very short space of time.
Thanks to this new partnership
TECHNOCHINA will be able to mark another important
step in the finished electronic products business.
On the sidelines of its plastic injection and metal
processing line, the company has succeeded in building
up a solid base of expertise in recent years, in
partnership with an electronic wiring specialist
in Shanghai. Nowadays, TECHNOCHINA produces many
electronic items, such as air disinfection systems,
surge protected outlets, electronic cards and power
supply cards, timers, hard disks…
